Nurse Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, residents, and clients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and document patient health status, identifying and reporting changes to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with the nursing team and multidisciplinary team to develop and modify patient care plans.
- Provide nursing care to assigned patients, including administering medications, performing wound care, and preparing patients for surgery.
- Evaluate patient response to care and modify interventions as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current student membership with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Successful completion of Year 2 or equivalent of a BC College of Nurses and Midwives and continued enrollment in a recognized nursing education program.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
