Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at KWICK TOWING. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Coordination
    • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
    • Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
    • Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Operations Management
    • Monitor personnel workloads and locations
    • Maintain vehicle operator work records
    • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  • Customer Service
    • Provide customer service and respond to urgent calls from individuals who require assistance
    • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain work records and logs
    • Process and transmit information and instructions
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
    • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
    • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
