We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our team at KWICK Towing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of our trucking services.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatching: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and as required by emergency situations.
- Logistics Management: Maintain vehicle operator work records, process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide customer service, including responding to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations and who require assistance.
- Operations Management: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
- Training and Development: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
