Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Polyanalytik Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Accounts Payable: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balance, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and balance general ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Depreciation and Asset Management: Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets, and maintain accurate records of asset ownership and value.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent time management skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
