Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Lead to join our team in Regina, SK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and approving structural engineering works, preparing reports, estimates, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and approve structural engineering works for new buildings and renovation projects
  • Lead the structural design team through projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Review and investigate preliminary engineering options during the planning and schematic design process
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants as required
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender contract documents, and engineering reports
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure project success
  • Perform contract administration duties, including site inspections and submittal reviews
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a consulting office, preferably in structural engineering
  • Must have a degree in structural engineering and be licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan (or other provinces)
  • Proficiency in Tekla, Staad Pro, and AutoCAD software is required
  • LEED AP certification is an asset
