About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Dexterra Group. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Canadian Forces Base Kingston location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to advance the goals of the organization, ensuring day-to-day functions align with our objectives.
  • Collaborate with section leads and employees to determine staffing requirements, ensuring the right teams are in place to deliver exceptional results.
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams, including cleaning, maintenance, and other support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Oversee building projects, including floor refinishing, to maintain a high standard of facilities.
  • Draft reports and make written recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Align maintenance strategies with key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in civil or military operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong contract management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
