Banquet Operations Manager

At JC's Grill House, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Banquet Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of banquets, events, and catering services.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Cost Control: Cost products and services to ensure profitability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Leadership: Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
