Pharmacy Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Weyburn, SK. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and providing exceptional patient care to our community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dispensing functions under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and standards of practice.
- Receive and process prescriptions, including counting and pouring medication, and attaching labels to prescription containers.
- Assist with pharmacy operations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, managing inventory, and answering phone calls.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to complete a Criminal Record Check.
