About Your New Role

The Key Holder is a vital member of the Store Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for overseeing the retail floor, developing and implementing sales strategies, delegating tasks, providing constructive feedback to the team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will also assist with leadership duties as needed and directly supervise Sales Associates in the store.

A Day in the Life

As a Key Holder, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with the Store Leadership Team to support day-to-day store operations, community management, and store-level marketing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create customer loyalty by providing personalized and engaging customer experiences.
  • Effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
  • Process stock, complete re-merchandising, and utilize the Point-of-Sale system to manage inventory and sales.
  • Drive sales and key performance indicators (KPIs) by fostering a feedback-driven work environment.
  • Encourage and energize staff, and assist in evolving in-store functions and flow.
  • Promote the Herschel culture by becoming a Brand Ambassador and maintaining high levels of service and operations.
  • Set goals with management for self-development and seek opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • Support the Store Leadership team by participating in in-store events and team training.
  • Stay up-to-date on all Herschel marketing campaigns and activations relevant to the store.

About You

  • You are a natural leader with experience in supervising others and a passion for developing your skills.
  • You have prior retail experience in a Key Holder or Sales Associate role.
  • You are confident, upbeat, friendly, and authentic in your interactions with customers.
  • You thrive in a team-focused environment and are comfortable sharing ideas and feedback.
  • You are capable of working with customers to resolve service issues and providing excellent customer service.
  • You are able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
  • You are a natural seller with excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate product features and benefits.
  • You are able to receive and communicate feedback effectively.
  • You are results-oriented and process-driven, with high expectations for yourself and your team.

Availability

We prefer all full-time employees to have open availability, with guaranteed full-time hours of 40 hours per week. You must be available to work one full weekend day.

Wage Band

$18.20-$21 per hour, depending on experience.
