Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Gurbal Transport is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and secure cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods over long distances
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Load and unload goods, and perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL license
  • Experience with mountain driving and team driving
  • Ability to work 40-70 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
