We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and certified dental assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and certified dental assistants during patient procedures
- Perform dental procedures and related administrative support duties
- Ensure the disinfection and sterilization of dental equipment and instrumentation
- Maintain infection prevention and control protocols
- Assist with patient communication and education
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Recent related experience in a dental office or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of dental programs and instrumentation
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
