The Greater Toronto Airports Authority is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Deicing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Deicing Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient deicing of aircraft at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Key Responsibilities- Operate deicing equipment to remove ice and snow contamination from aircraft surfaces
- Perform airfield security duties and escort responsibilities as required
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of deicing equipment and vehicles
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks on airside and groundside areas
- Operate a variety of deicing equipment designed for airports to control ice and snow contamination
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience in Aircraft Deicing Operations and heavy equipment operation is an asset
- Valid Provincial Driver's G License Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a D/A class AVOP permit within thirty (30) days of appointment to the position
- Confined space certification and Transport Security Clearance required
