About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structures Inspector to join our Contract Administration Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our bridge construction and rehabilitation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with contract documents, quality, and safety standards.
  • Interpret contract drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Identify and address contractual and regulatory infractions.
  • Verify quantities, prepare progress reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • University degree or College diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in structural inspection on road and/or bridge construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Inspector - Structures on at least two previous projects.
  • Registered as EIT, if applicable, or P. Eng. with the PEO or OACETT designation as rcsi; or ability to obtain this designation within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to site locations within the area.
