Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAKURA SUSHI COBOURG. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client focus and flexibility
  • Team player with initiative and dependability
