Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Trison Tarps Inc. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to produce high-quality welds.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, making adjustments as needed.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise cuts and designs.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal to meet customer requirements.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) and hoisting and lifting equipment to safely and efficiently move materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Flexibility, organization, and a hardworking attitude.
Work Environment

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to work in a physically demanding role, handling heavy loads and working at heights.
