Welding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Wrought Iron Art. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 30 hours per week
- English language work environment
