Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Bright Pearl Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring the cleanliness of our kitchen and work areas.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including supervising and coordinating the work of kitchen staff.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cantonese cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and reliability.
