Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VDC & Project Coordinator to join our team at Master Pools Alta Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in MEP design and construction execution, with excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • VDC Design and Drawing:
    • Create, refine, and publish BIM documentation for MEP design and construction execution
    • Model piping and mechanical room elements in coordination with other disciplines using worksets, system identities, and constructability
    • Maintain REVIT central and working models, and utilize BIM 360/Collaborate for coordination with trades and consultants
    • Utilize MEP modeling and titlesheet creation best practices to carry documentation from model origin to titlesheet completion
    • Collaborate directly with consultants and other trades to create fully coordinated documentation
  • Material and Equipment Logistics:
    • Contribute to efficient project management by ordering, shipping, and tracking project equipment and materials
    • Create material take-offs from REVIT models where applicable
    • Assist in assembling and executing project equipment and material lists
    • Communicate delivery timelines to suppliers and site personnel
    • Prepare shop drawings in coordination with suppliers and project managers
    • Track shipments for multiple projects simultaneously and under short notice
Requirements:
  • Direct construction experience with MEP mechanical and underground piping and equipment layout and installation
  • Experience with BIM documentation in a construction-execution environment
  • Excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills, as well as organizational ability
  • Working competence with all aspects of REVIT, including cloud-base coordination, project templates, MEP equipment families, and 3rd party plug-ins
