Senior Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Testing Specialist to join our team at Navro. As a key member of our FinTech team, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our automation testing strategy to ensure the reliability and quality of our platform and services.

As a Senior Software Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, co-developing, and automating software test plans and test cases to ensure that our platform meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Our backend is developed predominantly on Java with SpringBoot and SpringCloud, and our frontend in Next.js. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify testing goals and needs, and drive a culture of knowledge sharing to close knowledge gaps. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding team members in testing methodologies and best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify testing goals and needs
  • Mentor and guide team members in testing methodologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills with a solid knowledge of Java and ideally JavaScript
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies like Behavior-Driven Development and testing principles
  • Practical experience with Contract Testing using Pact
  • Familiarity with performance & load testing tools
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide team members
