Safety Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Attendant to join our team at Total Safety. As a Safety Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and clients. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- OSHA certification and/or other relevant safety certifications.
- Experience with safety software and technology.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
