Over the Road Driver

Shiva Transport Ltd. is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, taking into account traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Meet or exceed company standards for fuel efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Willingness to relocate
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods
As a Truck Driver - Long Haul, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. You will be expected to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
