About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and observant Traffic Safety Flagger to join our Traffic Control Team. This role involves ensuring the safe flow of traffic around construction sites, executing Traffic Management Plans, and coordinating with the work crew and public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct motor and pedestrian traffic to protect the safety of the work crew and the public.
  • Prepare and set up traffic plans and lane closures, including positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Adhere to Axiom Health and Safety policies and procedures, including PPE and clothing appropriate for the elements.
  • Assist in responding to public complaints.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in flagging or traffic control.
  • Valid Traffic Control Person certification.
  • Excellent observation and communication skills.
  • Level 1 First Aid certificate.
