About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Household Appliance Installation Specialist to join our team at Maple Appliance Ltd. As an Appliance Installation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of household appliances in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Setup
    • Install and set up household appliances in residential and commercial settings
    • Measure and mark guidelines for installations
    • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in customer interactions
    • Document and prepare invoices and work orders
  • Worksite Environment
    • Work in various environments, including outdoors and in construction, renovation, and installation settings
    • Handle heavy loads and work in fast-paced environments
  • Tools and Equipment
    • Utilize hand and power tools, safety equipment, and steel-toed safety boots
    • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check
    • Hold a valid driver's license
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in appliance installation or a related field
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
    • Handle repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Personal Qualities
