About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Household Appliance Installation Specialist to join our team at Maple Appliance Ltd. As an Appliance Installation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of household appliances in various settings, including construction, renovation, and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Setup: Install and set up household appliances in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
  • Site Assessment: Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and efficient installations, and addressing any customer concerns or issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of work completed and any issues encountered.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project execution and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in appliance installation or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), and stand for long periods.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including construction, renovation, and installation projects. The work environment will be physically demanding, with frequent exposure to outdoor conditions and heavy lifting.
