About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Policy Specialist to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations across all entities within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and document tax-related information for financial statements and compliance reports;
  • Prepare and review tax returns and other financial documents;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement new requirements in our financial systems;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax authorities;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations;
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on tax-related matters;
  • Participate in process improvements and implement best practices in tax compliance;
  • Stay current with industry developments and trends in taxation.

Requirements:

  • University degree in accounting or a related field;
  • CPA designation;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation;
  • Experience working with multiple sites and entities;
  • Master's degree in taxation or a related field, an asset;
  • Fluency in English and French.
