Palliative Care Physician Position

We are actively looking for a qualified Palliative Care Physician to become part of our multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary.

Role Overview
  • Deliver palliative care services across multiple environments such as hospitals, private residences, long-term care facilities, and assisted living homes.
  • Work collaboratively with family doctors and medical experts utilizing a shared-care approach.
  • Guide and mentor medical students and residents in their training.
Main Duties
  • Design and implement interprofessional initiatives focused on Palliative Care.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
  • Engage in educational and research activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
  • Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
  • Proven experience in palliative care and shared care practices.
