About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Gestion Cejemar Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry and replace linens, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including portioning and wrapping food items, and operating manual and electrical appliances.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas, and receive, unpack, and store supplies.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
