Key Responsibilities:
  • Navigate contracts and decipher project plans to build projects and estimates per specifications.
  • Perform accurate material and quantity take-offs, help prepare detailed estimates from first principles, and analyze cost history for reference when required.
  • Solicit quotations, engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, and attend pre-bid, post-bid, and post-award meetings.
  • Assist with smooth project transition from pursuit to execution when successful, perform market analytics, and make presentations of findings.
  • Maintain close contact with project managers, assist in the preparation of change orders, and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the public.
