Equipment Systems Application Specialist II

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Systems Application Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting the construction sales team by assisting with pre and post sales activities on building systems and equipment project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the construction sales team with pre and post sales activities, including system configuration validation, HVAC equipment and/or controls selection, and bidding.
- Develop and provide detailed engineering information and submittals to communicate design, configuration, operating, and installation requirements to customers, consultants, and Johnson Controls service.
- Work with assigned sales team to maintain an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results.
- Provide technical support, selections, and limited estimating support to Account Execs during project design or proposal phase.
- Support detailed estimating of projects for Account Execs to finalize and present to clients.
- Prepare customer proposals and quote letters for assigned projects, including project takeoffs, specification review, special quote generation, and RFQ and RFI issuance.
- Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) and customer satisfaction for all projects assigned.
- Work closely with branch administration to manage backlog execution, schedule, and forecast execution of equipment projects up to two years in advance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Writer, and basic Windows operating system environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage a large and diverse number of projects with professionalism, cooperation, and persistence.
- Demonstrated ability to organizational and attention to details.
- Project Management Experience or valid PMP certification.
