Sports Medicine Physician Opportunity
Aurora Sports Medicine Professionals Inc. is seeking a Sports Medicine Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals.
About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary sports medicine clinic with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentorship with our medical team to support clinical practice and build a sustainable caseload
- Flexibility to join part-time and/or progress to full-time, with opportunities to grow practice into other locations
- Low rent/overhead structure to maximize earning potential and work/life balance
- High volume of referrals, consultations, and private billing services
- Injections with Ultrasound Guidance Technology available in a dedicated procedure room
- Large, comfortable private office space in our 2400 sqft. facility with full EMR access
- Multi-disciplinary collaboration with medical team and rehab specialists
- Strong administrative support to assist with referrals, requisitions, and managing scheduling of patients
- Teaching opportunity with University of Toronto's Family Medical Residents
Requirements
- Motivated, self-directed, and professional
- Focused on evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Committed to first-class patient experience with excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in sports
- Interested in career development, and collaboration with our rehab team
- Current CPSO registration and CASEM Diploma Certification (or working toward certification)
