We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sports Medicine physician to join our multidisciplinary team at the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre. Our centre is a state-of-the-art clinic located within the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre, providing excellence in clinical care to our community of active individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality medical care to professional and elite athletes, as well as active individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to promote a positive and constructive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal health and return to function.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in sports medicine.
- Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) and valid license to practice in Canada.
- Licensed Primary Care physician in good standing with the college of physicians and surgeons of Ontario.
- Diploma in Sport Medicine through the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) or equivalent.
- Medical malpractice insurance through the CMPA or equivalent.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment and in the provision of care within an integrated sport team (IST) model.
- Completion of fellowship training in sports medicine or equivalent education and training.
- Past relevant experience working in a professional/elite sport setting.
