About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at AZORES CONSTRUCTION & ROOFING SERVICES INC. as a Flat Roofer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of commercial and residential buildings.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, both indoors and outdoors, at heights, and in various locations. They will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Strong team player with excellent client focus, dependability, and reliability.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work up to 40 hours per week, with a workload that includes handling heavy loads, working under pressure, and performing repetitive tasks.

Language and Work Term

The job requires English language proficiency and a permanent work term.
