About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at George Roque Roofing Corp. as a key member of our commercial roofing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to facilitate roofing operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Work on various types of roofing systems, including shingled roofs, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, demonstrating dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in roofing, with a focus on commercial roofing projects.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Strong physical capabilities, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
Working Conditions
  • 37.5 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Work in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and project completion.
