Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leadership Team to meet all organizational objectives and initiatives. This position is essential in delivering outstanding customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and proficient selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of customer activities and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance above other tasks.
  • Welcome and acknowledge customers, ensuring the appropriate level of service is provided.
  • Communicate the value and quality of merchandise while informing customers about current promotions and suggesting alternatives for out-of-stock items.
  • Utilize sound judgment to address customer concerns effectively.
  • Exhibit proficient selling skills to positively influence conversion rates.
  • Deliver quick, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register while educating customers on the benefits of the loyalty program.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained, with all sizes and styles adequately represented.
  • Adhere to company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support a clean, organized stockroom, ensuring a customer-ready environment while following safety protocols.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to meet company standards.
  • Protect company assets by following all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility needs to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by processing stock as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in retail is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Exceptional customer engagement skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends and evenings.
  • Physical capability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
