Senior Legal Counsel, Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at ZSA Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our client's compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks governing convenience stores, food products, and petroleum products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on how to execute projects within the required legislative and regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as Secretary to the Board of Directors for affiliated companies.
- Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Provide employee training on regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Member of the Quebec Bar.
- Bilingual.
- Background in business law.
- Experience in compliance, regulatory law, and the food industry an asset.
