About the Role:

Harnois Énergies, a leading energy solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join its team. As a key member of the company's legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks governing the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on compliance with regulatory frameworks governing convenience stores, food products, and petroleum products.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Provide training to employees on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Serve as Secretary to the Board of Directors for affiliated companies.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Quebec Bar.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Background in business law.
  • Experience in compliance, regulatory law, and the food industry an asset.
