About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Printing Operations Manager to join our team at PRINTING PRESS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our printing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our machinery.
  • Quality Control: Direct and oversee quality control inspections to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary materials and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Production Planning: Plan and implement changes to production systems and methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of employees to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in word processing software, inventory control software, and monitoring and tracking software is required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the printing and publishing industry is an asset.
  • Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Work Conditions: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure is essential.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude are required.
