About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Printing Manager to join our team at PRINTING PRESS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our printing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our machinery.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Team Management: Hire, supervise, and train employees in the use of new equipment and production techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary materials to meet customer demand.
  • Process Improvement: Plan and implement changes to machinery, equipment, and production systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that we meet our production targets.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Industry Experience: Printing and publishing industry experience is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in word processing software, inventory control software, and monitoring and tracking software.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
