Offset Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our team at Pristine Printing Inc. As an Offset Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our offset presses to produce high-quality prints.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Offset Presses: Safely operate and maintain our offset presses to ensure optimal performance and print quality.
- Plan Production Methods: Plan and implement efficient production methods to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
- Set Up and Run Presses: Set up and run presses at slow speed to check samples and ensure print quality meets our standards.
- Remove and Clean Plates and Cylinders: Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each press run to maintain press performance.
- Monitor and Control Ink Fountains: Monitor and control ink fountains to ensure optimal ink viscosity and color consistency.
- Basic Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance to work in a commercial printing environment.
- Manual Dexterity and Attention to Detail: Possess manual dexterity and attention to detail to handle press operations and maintain print quality.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Ability to stand for extended periods to operate presses and maintain print quality.
- Previous Experience in Offset Press Operations: Previous experience in offset press operations is an asset.
- Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Possess steel-toed safety boots to ensure workplace safety.
Our commercial printing environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be working in a commercial printing shop with offset presses, and you will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
