About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Appliance Territory Manager to join our team at AMS Retail Solutions. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with our customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service Delivery: Visit customers to service vendor products and perform sales and support services in assigned stores, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Provide new product information, receive customer feedback, and support customers by demonstrating equipment and providing product application training.
  • Customer Service and Support: Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, answer sales and technical questions, and facilitate sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory levels, making adjustments as required, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel with designated Customer Manager and/or AMS Regional Manager when necessary, and represent the company at trade/industry shows and training sessions.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report weekly summary of hours, location, and sales impact at retail, and comply with all Customer and AMS policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Travel and Availability: 100% travel required, including overnight stays, and ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Brand Name appliances, Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent communication, presentation, written, and technical skills.
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred, 2 years of vendor sales experience preferred, and 1 year of field sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent standing, bending, and twisting required, and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
