Financial Controller Job Description

River View Hotel is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and making strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily financial operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Establish and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitor financial control systems and ensure compliance.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data.
  • Advise senior management on financial matters.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and balance various accounts.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
