About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our hotel, ensuring that our financial systems are accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the hotel's financial goals are met.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable and receivable.
    • Manage the hotel's cash flow and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all financial staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
