Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Software Applications Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs for software applications
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and handouts
  • Conduct training sessions for staff, ensuring effective learning and knowledge transfer
  • Assess training needs and develop programs to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in the IT industry
  • 2-4 years of direct IT training experience
  • Experience in staff development and/or human resources management
  • Ability to analyze organizational training needs and develop programs and materials accordingly
  • Hands-on expertise with enterprise and desktop applications
  • Proven track record with adult learning principles, methodologies, and course design
  • Familiarity with current computer technology trends related to software
  • Experience in creating and updating course materials
  • Good grasp of the organization's objectives and goals

Education and Qualifications
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or education
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer certification or equivalent is a plus
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and certification
