About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Dalis Blower Inc. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities and Malfunctions: Utilize your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repair or Replace Defective Machinery Parts: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, including replacing worn or damaged parts to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work on Machinery: Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery, to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Operate Machining Tools to Fabricate Parts: Utilize machining tools to fabricate custom parts and components, as needed, to support the manufacturing process.
  • Install Machinery and Equipment: Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and configuration for optimal performance.
  • Operate Hoisting and Lifting Equipment: Safely operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy machinery and equipment, as needed.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Site Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to noise and dust.
  • Work Setting: This role will be based in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular standing and lifting of heavy equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: The successful candidate must possess strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overtime Required: This role may require overtime, as needed, to support the manufacturing process.

  • Work Term: This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
