Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team at Premier Candle Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of a team of 3-4 people, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet production deadlines
  • Train or arrange for training of team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and termination
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
