Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Ultrafit Manufacturing. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our manufacturing operations
    • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the role
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Selection and Examination Boards
    • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers
  • Human Resources Administration
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of employment process
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting
    • Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries
    • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications
    • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
