Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our store team members, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality products, and efficient procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Operations Manager in maintaining departmental standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Provide leadership and guidance to store team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Monitor and maintain high-quality products, ensuring proper food safety and handling procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental and store goals, driving sales and profitability.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, applying knowledge to drive business results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive experience.
- Ability to work under pressure, handling challenging situations with confidence and poise.

This role involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Typical motions include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, and reaching. The role requires moving and lifting an average of 10-40 lbs, with a maximum weight lifted of 75 lbs occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens and work environments, including temperature changes. Will be required to spend the majority of time standing.
