Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAKURA SUSHI COBOURG. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Food and Supply Management
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Staff Supervision and Training
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficient service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
- Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and submit reports to management on food sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
