Responsibilities:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
- Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
- Tasks:
- Deliver health education programs to patients and their families
- Manage home care cases and provide consultative services
- Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility and initiative
- Reliability and accuracy in performing tasks
