Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Postal Clerk. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing mail and packages, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process mail and packages, including sorting, scanning, and delivering to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Operate a computer point of sale system, handling cash, cheques, debit, and credit card transactions.
  • Conduct merchandizing and inventory control, ensuring that our retail space is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Review mail items for address accuracy, proper postage, and other relevant details.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service in a retail environment, with a focus on providing exceptional service to customers.
  • Sales experience is an asset, as is experience working in a production environment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 22.7 kilograms (50 lbs), and carry mail items weighing up to 15.9 kilograms (35 lbs).
